Students will complete both Core and Elective studies and will have the opportunity to select what they wish to study from a wider range of subjects.
At St Bede’s College the Years 9 and 10 curriculum framework offers students a launch-pad into their senior phase of learning. The framework has been created to comply with the Australian Curriculum and is designed to take into account the impact on VCE, VET and VCAL courses.
The Year 9 and Year 10 program is driven by two main goals. Firstly, to create an educational framework that offers the very best preparation for every student for their future. Courses and electives are delivered within the Australian Curriculum and Victorian Essential Learning guidelines for accreditation, assessment and reporting. Our second and equally important goal is to provide multiple flexible and individualised study options which enable each individual student to find challenge, success and fulfilment, and best prepare them for their post-compulsory studies.
