International Women’s Day 2025 – Inspiring Strength and Resilience
St Bede’s College proudly celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with a special breakfast at our Bentleigh East campus, bringing our community together to honor and uplift women.
We were privileged to welcome Donna Urquhart as our guest speaker—an ultra-marathon runner and pain scientist who made history by setting a Guinness World Record for the longest Polar Ultramarathon in Antarctica. Donna shared her remarkable journey of endurance, resilience, and mental strength, inspiring our audience with her insights on pushing beyond perceived limits.
It was a morning of empowerment and connection, reminding us of the incredible strength of women across the globe. Thank you to all who attended and helped make this event so special!
Welcome Picnic 2025 – A Warm Start to the Year
For the second year in a row, the Parents and Friends Committee proudly hosted the Welcome Picnic, a wonderful initiative designed to help ease the nerves of new parents and students as they begin their journey at St Bede’s College.
Families gathered on the front oval overlooking the beach, enjoying a relaxed evening filled with fun activities, great food, and refreshing drinks. It was a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, meet new faces, and share in the welcoming spirit of St Bede’s.
Year 7 Welcome Morning 2025 – A Special Start to the Journey
The first day of Year 7 is a milestone moment, and at St Bede’s College, we mark the occasion with a warm welcome for students and their families. Both campuses host a Year 7 Welcome Morning, inviting families to meet each other, connect, and share in this special transition.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for parents to socialise, support one another, and bid their sons farewell as they take their first steps into high school. This event embodies the strong sense of community and belonging that defines St Bede’s.
Father’s Day Breakfast 2024 – A Record-Breaking Celebration!
St Bede’s College hosted its biggest-ever Father’s Day Breakfast in 2024, with over 750 attendees coming together to celebrate this special occasion. Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast while being treated to live musical performances by our talented students. The event also showcased an impressive art exhibition, highlighting the creativity of our students.
It was a fantastic morning filled with great food, entertainment, and a wonderful sense of community. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we look forward to making next year’s event even bigger!
Mother’s Day Breakfast 2024 – A Special Morning to Remember
This year’s Mother’s Day Breakfast at St Bede’s College was our biggest yet, with an expanded capacity of 750 guests enjoying a more social, cocktail-style event. It was a beautiful opportunity for mothers to share a special morning with their sons, celebrating the incredible bond they share.
Guests were welcomed with a keepsake photo on arrival before enjoying a delicious breakfast in a relaxed, walk-around setting. Guests were able to enjoy live music performances from our students and view artwork. The morning was filled with warmth, laughter, and community spirit, making it a truly memorable occasion.
